How long does it take for you to create my project?
Initial Contact
You contact me by phone, email, mail or in person about your desire to have a website for whatever reason
Consultation
I find out from you what the purpose of the site will be, from personal to business. Then I find out what customer/client base or audience you are trying to target. This determines the size of the site. I also find out from you what kind of budget you want to run for this endavour (on my end it's very cheap). It's also a good time to ask you what your experience is using websites, some basic HTML knowledge would be nice, or if you prefer using webmail (like hotmail) or you are comfortable with Microsoft Outlook
Pre Development
I gather as much material about your venture as I can, from brochures, catalogues to pictures, music, videos and interviews. Anything that lets me know more about you and your business.
Quote
About the money. After the pre-development and the consultation. I evaluate your needs including how long its going to take me to finish the job for you. Usually in days as opposed to weeks or months depending on complexity. Usually I require 50% of the quoted amount up front in good faith from you before I start any work
Initial Development
With 50% of your money in hand the first thing I would do is purchase and administrate your domain if you don't have one already. In the meantime I start putting your design together, and my first draft is sent out to you as per quoted in the contract. We might go through as many as 5 design revisions until my quoted date of launch online
Final Development
Once the deign is approved by you.I woild require the final 50% of the quoted amount to install your site. After payment is recieved I install the site on the webserver, make sure everything is working okay, and all the elements are in place. Then I edit your DNS information to make your site LIVE!!
Post Development
The web changes everyday, and technology improves and new ones developed. I am also constantly upgrading my skill sets keeping at most times ahead of the current web standards. And when I think that something could be of some use to you. I will let you know about it. You also might see something online that you would like on your site and I will advise you on the viability of it on your site.
Backups/Upgrades/Maintenance
You are not alone after we conclude business. I remain with you for as long as you will have me as a partner in your online venture. I periodically back up your site, offer you upgrades when they are made available, re-design the site as needed. Plus much more
Looking forward to doing business with you
How much will I be paying for the hosting?
Hosting and fees
I use a third party host for your hosting needs. Depending on your particular site needs the price might depend. Thankfully the price for hosting websites comes down almost every month and I do my best to bring the most bang for your buck, plus a reliable service with little or no down time This hosting payments are a one time payment, no monthly payments to worry about. Depending on your contract it could be annually or more. The hosting is for 12 months unless otherwise stated
